more milestones!

we had cece's 1 year well baby check up this week. everything looked good! she's still above the 95% for height & weight- at 27(and change) pounds & 32 inches. i finally brought her to get her iron rechecked today, so hopefully all will be good on that front when we get the results.

sorry, i kinda forgot about you.

cece started clapping this week!

she was pretty surprised when i got really excited about her clapping. now if we clap, she'll copy. you know how babies do. it's all very cute.

we had our friend Kierans first birthday party this weekend. ONE YEAR! cece started the party in a very cute dress, but it was impeding her mobility, so she spent the rest as our 'little irish prince' haha.

anyway. happy one year big K. it's been fun!

Cecelia has been pretty open to the foods we've offered her. some she's more enthusiastic about than others. usually she'll try them and if she doesn't like them she usually ignores them. well, we found one that was offensive enough to warrant spitting out and quite a bit of fussing & crying.

the winner is: Kiwi!

Cecelia's first christmas was a busy one!

Christmas eve eve we hung out w/her uncle matt & auntie melissa for some silliness as usual.



Christmas eve we finally got to go visit the Taunton Green & look at the lights



Then it was off to my uncle Dave & aunt Jan's, which was exhausting!

I think after all that excitement, I was up more Christmas eve than Cece was! Christmas day we had lots of places to go, we started at our house, of course:


Cece wasn't sure what was going on, but she liked the sound of wrinkling paper :)

we visited with my mom next, where i didn't take any pictures, but i did take a video- i can only manage so much media!

next stop was my dad's house where we had a nice big breakfast and a mellow morning!


i probably could have used a nap at this point,

but there was no stopping us, and we were on to andy's parents:





we had a very nice visit there as well. mmm mexican food for dinner :) Feliz Navidad! we'd like to thank everyone for making Cecelia's first Christmas with us so wonderful, it was better than i could have imagined! <3

Just to brag that Cecelia got her nails trimmed for the first time yesterday, and survived with no nics or cuts!
