From a Distance

This weeks I <3 Faces challenge is "From a Distance" I hope this is distance enough, because I just took it last week and I was hoping I could enter it soon because I love it! Andy & I took Ce strawberry picking- I don't think she actually picked any, but she was a great supervisor.

camera phone!

it has been a while since i've entered over at i heart faces, but this weeks contest is a camera phone photo. i don't have a fancy phone that can do cool things with apps, but i *do* take a lot of pictures with my phone, so i thought i must have something worth sharing.



usually i get cece being crazy, but the rare quite moments are nice too.

so we went to the zoo last friday (which i'm still meaning to post about) but,  check out her first supermodel gig: as robeez profile pic on facebook:

showing off her cuteness AND her sweet monkey shoes! 

anyway, just a silly contest, with no real prize to speak of- but it made my day, so i'd call it a win. thanks robeez!

It's nice having discovered I <3 Faces- it motivates me to post here at least once a week :)




this weeks theme is purple. i have a confession to make: i really dislike purple. i thought about skipping, i thought about collecting all of cece's purple stuff  and taking a picture of her with it. then i remembered this picture- i love this picture- it was taken in maine on andrew & my first wedding anniversary. we were pretty broke but figured that wasn't going to change anytime soon & with kids on the horizon taking a weekend away would just get more & more complicated.  so we stayed in a bed & breakfast in kittery & hung around in Portsmouth, NH. it was a wonderful weekend with my wonderful hubby.

Over cece's head

the theme over at I <3 faces this week is "over my head." i know my heels are over my head in love with this kid, but i don't have a photo of that ;) so here's my newest favorite, cece wondering what crazy thing we have her in this time, trying on her nana alicia's hat.

a furry face

hi all, this week's theme at i heart faces is pets! it's hard to choose just one photo with the crew we have around here, but when i saw the theme, this picture of the fabulous baxter hollywood was the first to come to mind. so here it is:

our fierce protector. chaser of birds (stray cats, and even skunks), barker at the UPS man (the neighbors and especially the neighbors dogs) lap warmer, foot licker & baby food collector (both in the mouth and on his head).  and i think he could actually make it to the gate in 3 seconds.

so keep it up fluff, thanks for keeping us "safe" and giving us a laugh. we love you!

I had fun entering last week's I Heart Faces contest, and since i don't have a blog dedicated to my photography at this point, I'm going to continue using this one :)

This week's theme is Teenagers- and i don't know a lot of teenagers, but here is one of my favorites! This is Meaghan last winter w/her mom & sister at my brothers engagement party.  i love her expression of amusement & omg, this is my family :) <3 you Meg!!
