purple...

It's nice having discovered I <3 Faces- it motivates me to post here at least once a week :)




this weeks theme is purple. i have a confession to make: i really dislike purple. i thought about skipping, i thought about collecting all of cece's purple stuff  and taking a picture of her with it. then i remembered this picture- i love this picture- it was taken in maine on andrew & my first wedding anniversary. we were pretty broke but figured that wasn't going to change anytime soon & with kids on the horizon taking a weekend away would just get more & more complicated.  so we stayed in a bed & breakfast in kittery & hung around in Portsmouth, NH. it was a wonderful weekend with my wonderful hubby.

happy day to all the dads out there, but i'm going to dedicate this post to Cece's dad.

Thank you for being such an amazing dad, from the first weeks, when you had to make me english muffins because i was too nauseous to get out of bed without eating.

After I got my epidural & got to take a nap- you stayed up watching the monitors, keeping an eye on your girls.

Changing that first (of so many) diapers, getting broken on that uncomfy chair/bed in the hospital.

It's been a wonderful year of firsts. I am looking forward to many more years, and many more firsts.
