The weather has been teasing us with some glimpses of spring. we are READY for it to be here for real!

the zoo in review

Last week we had an uberplay date and headed to the zoo with 3 other baby friends! (and various members of their families :)  it was super fun and cecelia enjoyed the animals more than i expected her too.

the birds seemed to be her favorite, but they were the noisiest, so that makes sense. we're checking out some parrots here.

cece started clapping this week!

she was pretty surprised when i got really excited about her clapping. now if we clap, she'll copy. you know how babies do. it's all very cute.

we had our friend Kierans first birthday party this weekend. ONE YEAR! cece started the party in a very cute dress, but it was impeding her mobility, so she spent the rest as our 'little irish prince' haha.

anyway. happy one year big K. it's been fun!

Andy & our friend John fixed up our falling down fence last weekend.  this was exciting because then they opened the pool! yay!

Saturday night we went to a birthday party for some friends. as usual, most of the pictures ended up being of the babies ;)

cece wore her finest pirate garb, although the bandana didn't last long ;)

fun times are always had with cece's buddy kieran. although, she's wondering how he got from here to there w/out someone moving him. he did it on his own you say? crazy!

Cece & her furry friends

sure Cecelia has a lot of monkey friends, but she also spends her days with a regular animal kingdom!

here she is with her friend Mugatu. Moog was a big fan even before Cecelia was out in the world, and used to lay on her while she was still a bump. she exacts her revenge by laying on him here!

Busy Weekend!

We had a really busy weekend considering we started off with no plans:)
Thursday Cece, Mom & Grandmom headed to the outlets. Cece slept through all the shopping, and the excitement of losing the car in the parking lot. It wasn't lost for long though, so it was a successful day.

 

Friday our friends The Tormeys came over for dinner, it was nice to hang out with them!

Saturday we had an unexpected trip up to Lynn to introduce Cecelia to her Great-Nana Farrer and she had her first lunch in a restaurant. She kept her track record up and slept through that too, yay!
