The Fair

Last friday we headed to the rehobeth fair with some of the fam, beth & the kids, & aunt sue & uncle ray. I finally got a chance to upload the pictures. as usual, i "narrowed it down" to 117, but i won't post them all here :)

cece was NOT sure about the animals this time around.

she was also not sure about the rides.

but the lemonade was good.

happy 40 years!

this weekend the Farrer kids (as in andrew & his siblings) threw a surprise party for their parents. they've been married 40 years- and both have summer birthdays. so it was a 3-fer. sort of a 4-fer, as the party was held on one of their aunt & uncles 46th wedding anniversary!

Happy Fathers Day

happy day to all the dads out there, but i'm going to dedicate this post to Cece's dad.

Thank you for being such an amazing dad, from the first weeks, when you had to make me english muffins because i was too nauseous to get out of bed without eating.

After I got my epidural & got to take a nap- you stayed up watching the monitors, keeping an eye on your girls.

Changing that first (of so many) diapers, getting broken on that uncomfy chair/bed in the hospital.

It's been a wonderful year of firsts. I am looking forward to many more years, and many more firsts.

While Baxter will always be Cece's canine bff, she had  a great time visiting w/her aunt mary ann's two dogs today (and of course her great aunt & great gramma!)

we went to cece's cousin cameron's birthday party this weekend. fun was had by all!

Cece & I went & visited the Johnsons this afternoon. I always seem to get the camera out during Patrick's nap, but Renee was very awake while we were there so it was fun getting to hang with the newbie.

Renee has got the sweetest baby mohawk going on. i'm a big fan.

happy momma's day

sunday was mothers day, my first "official" one (i kind of count last year, being largely pregnant like i was) Andy was super dad, took the baby out early, made breakfast, got me flowers & the diaper detergent i wanted (hehe).  and was generally fabulous.

Huge congrats are in order to Cece's Uncle 'Travelin' Matt Mozzone & Aunt Melisssa-Anne who got married on saturday. it was a beautiful day. beautiful ceremony, beautiful reception- it was an honor to be a part of. we love you guys!
